Our vision for the Swim.com piece was to create something cinematic yet intimate. We came up with showing a swimmer's morning out at the pool using the Swim.com watch/application and a few of it's best features. To help get this intimate, cinematic feel we also chose to film the piece with a handheld/loose feel paired with anamorphic lenses. We also worked with a specialized underwater camera housing and operator in order to get perspectives from every angle of the swimmers. The tracking movements underwater also took some planning, but with some creative problem solving, we believe we came up with a very functional solution and we got the shots our client was looking for.
